Description
Handmade bespoke stool made from English Elm, with a modern design twist using cast resin.
All stools are individually designed and are unique. Alternative woods are available, although I love the grain and colouring of Elm.
Design themes include casting beautiful rocks and geological mineral samples or fossils in the resin, or other objects to meet your specification.
There are three base styles to choose from (please contact me to check availability before ordering):
Style 1 (LARGE) – This is a larger size, with a finished stool diameter of 35cm and square base 36cm x 36cm. The base is heavy duty, black steel with a circular connecting bar half way up. The stool height is adjustable via a large threaded rod, giving a total seat height of 63-73cm.
Style 2 (MEDIUM) – This is a medium size, with a finished stool diameter of 31cm and square base 36cm x 36cm. This is my original base style, finished with black steel legs in a square layout with straight connecting bars between the legs approx one third of the way up. The stool height is adjustable via a large threaded rod, giving a total seat height of 63-76cm.
Style 3 (MEDIUM or LARGE) – An alternative single pedestal style base, with a gas-lift lever for adjustable height. Can be finished in chrome or black. The height is adjustable from 62-76cm, with a pedestal diameter at the base of 39cm.
I can make the seat itself any shape, not just round.
These particular stools in the pictures are not available for sale, as each item is individual, with various examples shown. I can reproduce similar designs or work with you to meet your design theme.
Shipping to the USA and Canada can be expensive, so an option is to just buy the stool tops and fit them yourself to your own base. Contact me for alternative pricing.
USA parcels will be shipped Delivered Duty Paid DDP so you don’t have to worry about import duties.
